Physics-driven medieval combat. Every swing is yours to control.

A commoner. A blade. A tournament that wants you dead.
Half Sword is an immersive, physically simulated medieval combat game. You start as a commoner in 15th-century Europe and fight your way through brutal tournaments to earn a knight's place — one swing at a time.
Your mouse is the weapon
There are no canned attack animations. Your mouse drives the blade directly, so every cut, thrust and parry is something you did — and every mistake is yours too.
Arm yourself
Build a fighter that suits your style with authentic arms and armor: swords and shields, plate and helmets. What you wear changes how you move and what you can survive.
Duels and melees
One-on-one duels demand precision. Group battles demand awareness. Each mode asks for different tactics, and the arena is unforgiving either way.
What makes it different
-
Physics-driven ragdoll combat
Bodies, limbs and weapons are simulated, not animated. Momentum, weight and balance decide the outcome of a clash — closer to a physical simulation than a combo system.
-
Historically styled arms and armor
Weapons and harness modeled on 15th-century European equipment. Armor stops what it should stop, and leaves open what it should leave open.
-
A damage system that doesn't hold back
Cuts go where the edge lands. Wounds slow you, bleed you and end you. The gore is heavy and it is the point: you feel the weight of every hit.
-
Duels and arena melees
Face a single opponent or a crowd. Different modes, different rhythms, the same rule: stay standing.
